All Diving Victoria members are eligible to enter the quilifaction events only. The club competition is invitational only and awards are only awarded to athletes taking part in the inter club competition.

All divers are expected to wear there club uniform for all competitions. We have some stock. Backorders take 4 weeks to arrive.

Date and Times: 27th, 28th and 29th January 2023
RDC Photo: 7:30am Saturday 28th January – poolside. All divers to be in RDC Polo Top
Warm-Up: 8:00am (we'll have a sausage sizzle on the go!)
Event Start: 9:00am
Approximate Finish: 4pm if three days, 5:00pm if only 2 day
Venue: Aquanation – cnr Reilly str and Greenwood Drive, Ringwood

You will need to log in with your RDC/DV membership information – normally divers’ initial and surname

Dive Sheets Due: Friday 20th January 2023 9am
Dive Sheets entry: DiveRecorder (www.diverecorder.co.uk) (speak to your coach about Dive Numbers) – entries can be done on pooldeck or in the office. Click here for instructions

General Information
  • Entries and dive sheet submissions are the responsibility of the diver, but if you are unsure on what to do, consult your coach
  • Late entries or dive sheets will not be accepted on the day, nor will any changes to dive sheets be made on the day (unless the dives do not meet the event requirements)
  • A draft order of events is included in the competition criteria. The order of events with approximate times will be published as soon as possible once competition entries close. Note – these are provided as a guideline only, as RDC reserves the right to change or combine events to streamline the day
  • All divers are required at the pool at the warm-up time (7:45am) and should remain throughout the day to support their fellow divers
  • RDC Club Polo Tops are compulsory and must be worn at all march-on and presentations. Uniforms will be available for purchase on the day
Eligibility Criteria
  • All membership and other fees or monies owing to the club must be fully up to date in order to be eligible for Awards
  • Ages for all events are taken as at 31st December 2023
  • All RDC divers are eligible to participate in the Open and Synchronised Events
  • Only divers that meet the following minimum DD requirements are eligible for the Open Perpetual Awards:

              Men’s:  1m – 13.3         3m – 14.4       Platform – 13.9

              Women’s 1m – 11.1      3m – 12.4       Platform – 12.2

  • Only RDC divers that are actively participating in club-based programs are eligible to participate in relevant events and receive awards
  • RDC divers that train exclusively in external programs may participate in Age and Open events  “by invitation” only (their final placing will be recognised, without affecting the finishing order of other divers, but they do not receive awards for these placings as part of our Annual Awards)

 

For Learn to Dive divers, enter the Learn to Dive Individual Event. divers can choose to do their dives from the 1m or the 3m board. Their coach will assist with what dives they should do.

If your child would like to do the synchronised event and don't have a partner yet, just put "To be confirmed" in the space for the partner's name and the coaches will work it all out. Synchro is fun and the divers really love it.
