The Diving Championships

WHAT IS THE ISOLATION DIVING CHAMPIONSHIPS? This is a competition for all Diving Victoria members that will take place over 6 weeks, consisting of 6 major challenges and a couple of bonus rounds thrown in by our superstar presenters. This Championship will be free to all divers to take part in.

Each round will have a prize for 1^st place and every entry will receive points from our judging panel which will be drawn at random each week to select the winners. After the final event in the 6 weeks of challenges the athletes that place 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd will be awarded their prizes. Prizes to be announced shortly.

The scoring will go as follows: 1^st 25, 2^nd 22, 3^rd 20 then each place would score 2 points less until we get to 1 at which point all remaining entries will get 1 point. Bonus points are available from the challenge presenter each week that can be awarded for the funniest entry or the most creative or even just their favourite for the week.

The competition will be split into two age groups 13 and Under and 14 and Over (Age as of the 31^st December 2020)

All challenge entries will be submitted via email to isolation@ringwooddivingclub.com.au at which point the judges will vote on the winners each week.

Rules

• Entries must be submitted via the provided deadline each week.
• One entry per event.
• Events will be released Wednesday through ringwood.diving.club on Instagram
• The weekly results will be published via Instagram
• Winners will be selected by votes for artistic events and other results will be selected through the published rules for each event.
• All enquiries should be made to isolation@ringwooddivingclub.com.au
• Entries from all Diving Clubs are welcome
• Participation is at your own risk and you must be supervised by an adult when completing each event.
