The 2020 Victorian Age Championships serves as a qualifying meet to the Australian Age Championships (16-19 April 2020, Brisbane QLD).

This is one of three local competitions in which divers have the opportunity to make their qualifying score for their respective nationals. Please consult your coach before registering for this event.  

Sessions 2, 4 and 6 will be the Victorian Elite Junior Qualifier, registration for this event is separate.

Dates: 

• Friday 29th February - Sunday 1st March 2020

Venue: 

• AQUANATION, Ringwood

Competition Fee: 

• $40 Registration
• $31 per event
• $20 per synchro

Entry Deadline:  

• Sunday 16th February  (midnight)
• Entries are online only via the Diving Victoria website
• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration before the entry deadline, Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483)

Late Entries:

• $77 Registration, $31 /event, $20 Synchro
• Divers will dive by invitation (not eligible for placing or any points) may still achieve a national qualifying score

• Sunday 23rd February (midnight)

Add an Event Late:

• Divers wishing to add an event to an existing registration after the entry deadline but before the Dive Sheet Deadline $46 /event, $35 Synchro.  Must call DV office to process (9686 7534 or 0411 863 483).  Divers will dive by invitation in that event (not eligible for placing or any points) may still achieve a national qualifying score

Late Entry Deadline: 

• Sunday 23rd February (midnight)

Eligibility:

• Age is as of 31st December 2020
• Divers must be registered as financial members of Diving Victoria / Diving Australia as a State Level Diver or Coach to compete.  If you are unsure of your eligibility, please contact the Diving Victoria Office. Divers may upgrade their membership online by logging into their account

Dive Requirements: 

• The 2020 DA national qualifying standards apply (Pages 11-13)
• Divers must stay within their age-group for synchro

Dive Sheets:  

• Due via Dive Recorder www.diverecorder.co.uk before 9am Thursday 27 February
• Late sheets or late changes - if accepted - will result in a diver competing by invitation in that event (not eligible for placing or any points)

Spectator Entry & Fee:  

• Competitors, Coaches, Officials & Spectators: Free

At the conclusion of Session 1 and before the Session 2 warm-up

• Sign in: TBC
• Warm-up: 45 min,
  • First event only: 15 mins
• Event Begins: TBC

SATURDAY (Session 3)

• Victorian Elite Junior Qualifier

SUNDAY (Session 4)

• Sign in: 8:00am
• Warm-up: 8:15-8:45am
  • First event only: 8:45am - 9am
• Event Begins: 9:00am

SUNDAY (Session 5)​

• Victorian Elite Junior Qualifier
